When we began conceptualizing our programming for the new music venue, we knew it was imperative to book high caliber talent and quickly establish ourselves as the Eastern Sierra premier indoor music venue. Building on that premise, we have taken it a step further and have been hosting lead singers of bigger bands to play a rare solo performance.
Last Friday, night we were treated to a very special night with Tim Bluhm of the Mother Hips. The show was memorable and filled with tales between songs. It reminded me of “VH1 Storytellers”.
After the show concluded, Mr Bluhm even stuck around to mingle with his adoring fans, many of over 20 years.
Later this month we have another Intimate Performance with Robin Wilson of Gin Blossoms on Thursday, December 19, beginning at 8 pm.
In case you lived under a rock in the 90’s, the Gin Blossoms are a multi-platinum alternative rock group with huge hits such as Hey Jealousy, Allison Road and Follow You Down, just to name a few.
And then on January 20, we bring back Todd Sheaffer of Railroad Earth.
The legendary front man is touring with his band between Tahoe and Los Angeles and we enticed him to return to the T-Bar for a solo performance.
Stay tuned for more intimate shows to be announced!
