April 27th is a very special day around here. The T-Bar Social Club is celebrating our 6 month Anniversary on the same day as the official fishing opener, known in the Eastern Sierra as “Fishmas”.

Anglers will have a lot to celebrate as our lakes and streams are very healthy following an above-average snowfall this winter. With over 600,000 pounds of trout being stocked throughout Mono County, 2019 expects to be an epic fishing season and the T-Bar Social Club is kicking it off with our 1st annual “Fishmas at the T-Bar”.

The T- Bar Social Club will open at noon, serving up June Pie Pizza including favorites like the New Yorker, the T-Bird and the “Grandma-style” artichoke pan pizza. In addition to legit delicious pizza, there will be drink specials including “The Fisherman’s Boilermaker”, courtesy of friends at Coors & Redemption Bourbon.

The June Lake Loop is known as a summer fishing destination, with occupancy rates throughout the Loop at or near capacity all summer long.

Later in the evening, we have put together a special musical treat. Top 40 recording artist Matt Reardon teams up with local guitar hero Josh Mann and Grammy award winner Randy Cantor for a Fishmas night of quality Rock and Blues starting at 9pm. “Fishmas is the traditional start of the busy season here in the Loop,” said Jamie Schectman, President of the T-Bar Social Club and June Pie Pizza Co., “We look forward to introducing our tasty pizza, adult libations and quality live music to the thousands of anglers who will be visiting our town this summer.”
