The main catalyst for purchasing the historic Sierra Inn was to create space where quality live entertainment can be hosted.
In October 2018, we opened the T-Bar Social Club, a 100-person night club. And next year, we plan to open the Balanced Rock Saloon, a 300-person multi-use event space that will double as the Sierra’s premiere indoor music venue.
As a long time live music lover, I’ve been fortunate enough to have seen over 1,000 concerts in 10+ countries. In fact, many of those concerts were the basis for planning a “business trip” and/or vacation.
As we began developing our business model, we studied other “Destination Venues” that exist in beautiful and exotic locations, and not surprisingly, often in mountain communities.
Some successful Destination Venus include:
- Pappy & Harriets in Pioneertown, CA
- Knotty Pine Supper Club in Victor, ID
- Belly Up in Aspen, CO
- The Sitzmark in Girdwood, AK
- Live from the Divide in Bozeman, MT
I believe the June Lake Loop is one of the most beautiful places on the planet. With big mountains, lush alpine lakes and plenty of room to explore, we are working towards adding our name to this exclusive list.
We continue to book bands that would typically play a much bigger venue. In the month of July alone, we will be hosting Eric McFadden 7/6, SambaDá 7/13, Cracker 7/25 and Nappy Roots 7/27.
We have forged lodging partnership with eight lodging properties, all of which offer a discounted rate to T-Bar Social Club guests. Imagine taking a trip to a idyllic location with unlimited outdoor recreations potential, then catch an amazing concert after dark.
We invite you to plan your next “Musical Vacation” to June Lake. See you in the Loop!
