In May 2018, we purchased the Historic Sierra Inn with the idea of developing the building into 3 separate but complementary businesses.
The first business to open was the T-Bar Social Club in October 2018 and has quickly positioned itself as the Eastern Sierra Premier Intimate Music Venue, hosting quality year round live entertainment. The second business, June Pie Pizzeria opened its doors in November 2019, serving legit New York Style Pizza.
After constructing and opening two distinct businesses, we have decided that it makes more sense to find a like-minded partner and/or long term tenant to develop the final phase of the build out. The space is roughly 3,000 square feet plus a 600 square foot patio with sweeping views.
To date, we have spent significant capital modernizing and improving the building including a new roof, upgrades to electrical, plumbing and HVAC, exterior and ADA compliance. Much of the “heavy lifting” has been completed.
We recently met with Mono County Land Development Technical Advisory Committee (LDTAC), who informed us that as long as the business in conducive with the June Lake General Plan, that most anything is possible.
Some best uses of the space are:
- Workforce or long term housing
- Conference space or meeting facilities
- Office or shared work space
- Gymnasium and/or climbing gym
- Sports bar
- And many more
The June Lake Loop is experiencing an Economic Renaissance. As the first building on the right when entering town, this is a rare opportunity for a business or entrepreneur .
